FORMA. around matters of sound and vision
July 24, 2026 – 9:30 p.m.
Il programma musicale estivo del Museo Mitoraj è curato dal collettivo artistico e curatoriale Tutto Questo Sentire (TQS). Founded in 2014 and with extensive international experience, the collective explores the genius loci through site-specific interventions that create a dialogue between sound, image, and architecture. For the Mitoraj Museum, TQS has conceived a series of three events featuring international artists, bringing avant-garde performance formats to Versilia. Each evening stems from the individual research of one of the collective’s three founding members: Rebecca Salvadori (video artist and filmmaker), Sandro Mussida (composer and performer), and Olivia Salvadori (soprano and vocal artist). The result is a program that forms a single journey, structured around the various facets of a shared sensibility.
Each evening reveals a different constellation, demonstrating how individual paths and collective research feed into one another.

Thomas Ankersmit – Live Performance
The Tcherepnin Series – Music for the Original Serge Synthesizers
Fully analog concerts in which Thomas Ankersmit improvises live on the Serge Modular—a synthesizer in which sound modules are freely connected via cables, without a fixed configuration, allowing for virtually unlimited exploration of timbre. Each piece emerges from a dialogue with the legendary original Serge systems that Ankersmit has sampled in historic studios around the world, creating a physical, visceral, and intensely detailed sonic experience.
Sandro Mussida (IT/UK)
Heliott, for solo piano, lead weights, and e-bows
Heliott is Sandro Mussida’s solo piano project—the form in which the composer sits at the instrument as both performer and interpreter of his own music. A structure of written themes and sequences that finds its own uniqueness each time, while remaining faithful to the score. Lead weights placed on certain keys, e-bows in specific sections: resonances held open, a harmonic field that does not decay. The music inhabits a composite space—late Baroque, modal jazz, pop, trans-Western drone, spectralism—in which different harmonic systems coexist as physical objects, with weight, color, and temperature.
