FORMA. around matters of sound and vision

July 3, 2026 – 9:30 p.m.
The Mitoraj Museum’s summer music program is curated by the artistic and curatorial collective Tutto Questo Sentire (TQS)

Founded in 2014 and with extensive international experience, the collective explores the genius loci through site-specific interventions that create a dialogue between sound, image, and architecture. For the Mitoraj Museum, TQS has conceived a series of three events featuring international artists, bringing avant-garde performance formats to Versilia. Each evening stems from the individual research of one of the collective’s three founding members: Rebecca Salvadori (video artist and filmmaker), Sandro Mussida (composer and performer), and Olivia Salvadori (soprano and vocal artist). The result is a program that forms a single journey, structured around the various facets of a shared sensibility.
Each evening reveals a different constellation, demonstrating how individual paths and collective research feed into one another.

Friday, July 3, 9:30 p.m.
  • Rebecca Salvadori (IT/UK) – Film Screening + Live A/V: Screening of the animated film Synchronized and Non-Synchronized Exercises of Arrhythmic Empathy (2017), followed by a real-time visual dialogue with the guest artist.
  • Kenichi Iwasa (UK/JP) – Live Set: An open improvisational performance featuring live electronics, flugelhorn, and digital percussion.
  • Daniele Fabris (IT/UK) – OSA system – surround sound audio diffusion.

Tickets cost €18 and can be purchased exclusively at the Mitoraj Museum on the day of the event, while seats last (maximum 200 people).

Synchronized and Non-Synchronized Exercises of Arrhythmic Empathy (2017)
Screening of the animated film created by Rebecca Salvadori, commissioned by Sandro Mussida for Ventuno Costellazioni Invisibili.
The work emerges from a dialogue between the two artists’ research and explores the relationships between rhythm, perception, and listening through a constantly evolving visual composition. The artist will also present clips from her work in a live dialogue with guest artist Kenichi Iwasa.

Kenichi Iwasa (UK/JP) – Live Set
Live electronics, flughorn & digital percussions
A live improvisational performance by Kenichi Iwasa, whose practice spans sonic and gestural languages through the use of wind instruments, voice, and electronics. His performance unfolds as an open-ended, non-predetermined response to the context of the evening, creating a space for listening and immediate interaction.
