VISITOR GUIDELINES

To ensure the museum is a welcoming space and that your visit is a positive experience based on mutual respect, we ask that visitors observe the following rules while inside the museum:

Coat Check
Bags, backpacks, suitcases, or bulky items that could pose a threat to the safety of the exhibited works must be checked at the coat check. The coat check service is free for visitors and features lockable lockers.

Photos and Videos
You may take photos without a flash and record videos for personal use. The use of professional equipment (tripods, selfie sticks, etc.) is not permitted.
It is prohibited to photograph other visitors or staff without their consent.
For professional or commercial filming, please email comunicazione@museomitoraj.it

Rules of Conduct
Visitors are prohibited from touching the artworks or leaning on pedestals and supports, and must maintain a safe distance to prevent damage.
Out of respect for others, please keep your voice down and set your cell phone to silent mode.

Prohibitions
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited. Bringing food or beverages into the museum is prohibited.

Animals
In Italy, there is no national framework law governing the admission of animals to museums. Each managing body has full autonomy to establish its own internal regulations to ensure decorum, visitor safety, and the preservation of the artworks.
The Mitoraj Museum adheres to the guidelines set forth by the Regional Directorate of Museums of Tuscany, which, for reasons of heritage protection and conservation and to ensure maximum public safety, prohibits access to dogs and any other domestic or companion animals, of any breed or size, even if on a leash and/or wearing a muzzle.
Certified guide dogs or service dogs are exempt from this rule.
